主旨：NCTS Seminar on Number Theory-Genus Character L-functions of Quadratic Orders and Class Number Formulas (Online seminar)
內容：For any quadratic orders, we explicitly calculate the genus character L-functions in full generality. This generalizes our old computation related to the Chowla-Selberg formula for non-fundamental orders.
As an application, we generalize a formula due to Hirzebruch-Zagier which expresses the class numbers of some imaginary quadratic fields in terms of continued fraction expansions of suitable quadratic numbers. This is a joint work with Yoshinori Mizuno.

主旨：NCTS Differential Geometry Seminar-Singularities of Equivariant Lagrangian Mean Curvature Flow
內容：After Ricci flow, the mean curvature flow of submanifolds in a Riemannian manifold is the most natural and famous geometric flow, describing the gradient descent for the volume functional. It is also of interest to symplectic geometers, since in an ambient Kahler-Einstein manifold, the flow preserves the class of Lagrangian submanifolds. It is therefore of interest to understand the behaviour of the flow, in particular the nature of singularities. In this talk I hope to show the difference between the behaviour of singularities in the general case and the Lagrangian case, and give an exposition of my results regarding equivariant submanifolds.

主旨：AS-NCTS Seminar on Geometry-Equivalence Problem of 5-dimensional Real Hypersurfaces of Type C2,1
內容：We consider the CR equivalence problem of 5-dimensional real hypersurfaces in C3 that are Levi degenerate of constant rank 1, and are 2 non-degenerate in the sense of Freeman; and we will review some of the progress made in this area. A well-known homogeneous model is the tube over the future light cone, whose Lie algebra of infinitesimal CR automorphism is isomorphic to so(2,3). In recent joint works with Zhangchi Chen, Joel Merker, and The-Anh Ta, we study such manifolds in the rigid setting, giving rise to 7-dimensional Lie sub-algebra of so(2,3), with 2 primary invariants.

內容：The “2020 NCTS Workshop on Dynamical Systems” will take place on 18-19 December 2020 at National Pingtung University of Taiwan. This workshop includes around 6 50-minute and several 30-minuute presentations. This workshop has been hosted since 2001 by NCTS. 主旨：2020 Symposium for Young Analysts
內容：
The 2020 Symposium for Young Analysts aims to afford opportunities for young researchers and students who have received or shortly master's or doctoral degrees in mathematical analysis, to present their academic works, stimulate knowledge growth of mathematics, and acquire recent research tendencies. This sort of colloquia has been held numerous times in the past and contributed plenty of aids to inspire young people doing theoretical researches and create closed interactions within the analysis community in Taiwan.
Aside from National Central University, these meetings have taken place in turn at National Sun Yat-sen University, National Changhua University of Education, and other universities. This year, one to two senior analysts will address speeches at the conference site of National Central University and propose current popular research trends. Anyone interested in analysis, particularly students, postdoctoral fellows, and young scholars, are encouraged to participate in this year's symposium. We will also use this gathering occasion to examine the future motions and research objectives of the analysis group of NCTS.

主旨：Stokes Matrices, Surfaces, and Points on Spheres (Online seminar)
內容：Moduli spaces of points on n-spheres carry natural actions of braid groups. For n=0,1, and 3, we prove that these symmetries extend to actions of mapping class groups of positive genus surfaces, through exceptional isomorphisms with certain moduli of local systems. This relies on the existence of group structure for spheres in these dimensions. We also apply the exceptional isomorphisms to the study of Stokes matrices and exceptional collections of triangulated categories. Joint work with Junho Peter Whang.

主旨：Generalized Canonical Models of Foliated Surfaces (Online seminar)
內容：By work of McQuillan and Brunella, it is known that foliated surfaces of general type with only canonical foliation singularities admit a unique canonical model. It is then natural to investigate the moduli space parametrizing canonical models. One issue is that the condition being a canonical model is neither open nor closed. In this talk, I will introduce the generalized canonical models to fix this issue and study some properties (boundedness/separatedness/properness/local-closedness) of the moduli space of generalized canonical models.

主旨：The 20th Taiwan Geometry Symposium
內容：The purpose of the Taiwan Geometry Symposium is to foster discussions and interactions within the geometry community in Taiwan. It hopes to meet regularly in the years to come, running on a Saturday from late morning to late afternoon, with 3 speakers. The activity usually rotates among Taipei, Hsin-Chu and Tainan. We encourage everyone who is interested in Geometry, and particularly students, postdoctoral fellows and young scholars to participate in the Symposium. This semester’s symposium will be held at the campus of National Taiwan University on the first day, and have student sessions and discussions outside the campus on the second day. We hope to use this symposium to foster discussions and interactions within the geometry community in Taiwan and also discuss the future activities and directions the geometry group of NCTS.

主旨：Potentials and Forces Induced From Surface Density
內容：The structure of the center regions of galaxies can be regarded as thin gaseous disks and dynamical evolution of the central region of galaxies usually employ the numerical simulations. The simulations should be a three dimensional problem, but it is simplified to a two dimensional problem due to the computational complexity. Self-gravitational force play a significant role in the gaseous flow on the disk. The potential and self-gravitational force of three dimensional spaces is induced from surface density, which is represented by a singular Dirac measure. In this study, the potential and forces induced from surface density for three dimensional problem is investigated its energy estimation, which the surface density is treated as density of two dimension in numerical simulations.

主旨：Topology of Surfaces with Finite Willmore Energy
內容：In this presentation, we talk about a critical case of the Allard regularity theorem. Combining with Reifenberg's topological disk theorem, we get a critical Allard-Reifenberg type -regularity theorem. As a main result, we get the topological finiteness for a class of properly immersed surfaces in with finite Willmore energy. Especially, we prove the removability of isolated singularity of multiplicity one surfaces with finite Willmore energy and a uniqueness theorem of the catenoid under no a priori topological finiteness assumption.

主旨：Cohomology of Contact Loci
內容：We construct a spectral sequence converging to the cohomology with compact support of the $m$-th contact locus of a complex polynomial. The first page is explicitly described in terms of a log resolution and coincides with the first page of McLean's spectral sequence converging to the Floer cohomology of the $m$-th iterate of the monodromy, when the polynomial has an isolated singularity. Inspired by this connection we conjecture that the Floer cohomology of the $m$-th iterate of the monodromy of $f$ is isomorphic to the compactly supported cohomology of the $m$-th contact locus of $f$, and that this isomorphism comes from an isomorphism of McLean spectral sequence with ours.

主旨：Arithmetic Satake Compactifications and Algebraic Drinfeld Modular Forms
內容：In this joint work with Urs Hartl we construct the arithmetic Satake compactification of the Drinfeld moduli schemes of arbitrary rank over the ring of integers of any global function field away from the level structure, and show that the universal family extends uniquely to a generalized Drinfeld module over the compactification. Using these and functorial properties, we define algebraic Drinfeldmodular forms over more general bases and the action of the (prime-to-residue characteristic) Hecke algebra. The construction also furnishes many algebraic Drinfeld modular forms obtained from the coefficients of the universal family which are also Hecke eigenforms. Among them we obtain generalized Hasse invariants which already live on the arithmetic Satake compactification. We use these generalized Hasse invariants to study the geometry of the special fiber and to establish the Jacquet-Langlands correspondence (mod v) between Hecke eigensystems of rank r Drinfeld modular forms and those of algebraic modular forms (in the sense of Gross) attached to a compact inner form of GL_r.

主旨：Quantum Information Science (QIS) and Mathematics
內容：Quantum Information Science (QIS) has emerged in many disciplines among physical sciences, materials science, computer science, mathematics, and engineering, for the demands for novel computers, secure communication, and higher resolution sensors to go beyond the scaling limits of classical technologies. As the mother of all the sciences, mathematics definitely is involved everywhere in QIS. This activity aims to initiate the dialogue between researchers in QIS and mathematicians in Taiwan. In our first contact, theorists from the foundation of quantum mechanics, quantum error-correcting codes, quantum communication protocols/channel capacity theory, and quantum cryptography/quantum complexity theory will introduce the terminologies, mathematical structures, unsolved problems, and the application targets to mathematicians. Concepts and paradigms will be stressed from scratch, in order to provide the fundamental knowledge and tools necessary for any possible exploration and collaboration.

主旨：Nonlinear Phenomena in Evolutionary Partial Differential Equations
內容：The prediction and measurement of ecological niche are fundamental part of modern ecology in both practical and theoretical aspects. It has strong relationship with competitive Lotka-Volterra system and can be served as an intuitive approach to study competition interaction. I will introduce some basic idea of niche theory in the first few parts and talk about my recent study of the connection between niche theory and traveling wave theory in 2 component DLV ＆ evolutionary game theory in the last parts of this speech.

主旨：Curves on K3 Surfaces
內容：I will survey the recent completion (joint with Chen-Liedtke) of the remaining cases of the conjecture that a projective K3 surface contains infinitely many rational curves. As a consequence of this along with the Bogomolov-Miyaoka-Yau inequality and the deformation theory of stable maps, I will explain (joint with Chen) how in characteristic zero one can deduce the existence of infinitely many curves of any geometric genus moving with maximal variation in moduli on a K3 surface. In particular this leads to an algebraic proof of a theorem of Kobayashi on vanishing of global symmetric differentials and applications to 0-cycles.

主旨：Counting Richelot Isogenies of Superspecial Curves of Genus 2
內容：Recently, supersingular elliptic curve isogeny cryptography has been extended to the genus-2 case by using superspecial curves of genus 2 and their Richelot isogeny graphs. In view of this situation, we examine the structure of Richelot isogenies of superspecial curves of genus 2, and give a characterization of decomposed Richelot isogenies. We also give a concrete formula of the number of such decomposed Richelot isogenies up to isomorphism between superspecial principally polarized abelian surfaces. This is a joint work with Katsuyuki Takashima (Mitsubishi Electic Co.).
